Hackney local Kevin Mills joined forces with fellow east-enders Jon and James Penn to open this multi-roomed coffeeshop in what was once Kevin’s family business. The idea for the business was born on a trip to Colombia. It’s a delightful premise with several small rooms, each with their own character and decorated with a distinct South American influence. Look out for Kevin’s bowler hat suspended lighting and other design aspects influenced by his training and experience as an electrician. This is an Instagram friendly cafe with scope for interesting angles and clever branding. There’s a neat simplicity about their offer focussing on well made coffee from Bristol roasters Extract  soups, sandwiches, toasties, pastries and cakes.
