You’d be forgiven for mistaking Hurwundeki’s entrance for a graveyard of office furniture and playground equipment. Tucked away in the railway arches next to Cambridge Heath Station on Mare Street, Hurwundeki is an eclectic mix of good coffee, “home-style” Korean food and a hair salon. The decor is a quirky mix of taxidermy, mismatched furniture and a makeshift tin shack over the kitchen. Go for a spur of the moment hair cut and a fine espresso. Cash only.
