Insomnia, as its name implies, has its doors open longer than most specialty coffee outlets in the Pacific Northwest.

Within the world of the modern design, one would be remiss if they did not include some form of natural wood. Insomnia flirts with the boundaries of this realm by employing recycled wood within its interior—exchanging clean for vintage, and expressing care not only for their establishment but the environment as well. The shop contains antique furniture from bygone eras: vintage lamps rest upon dark hardwood tables and tree stumps used as side tables. Because of the diverse and asymmetric selection of furniture, you can be sure there is a piece for any time of the day or mood. Plop into a large comfy chair as you leisurely read your favorite novel or grab seat at one of the tables to get some work done in a bustling environment. Insomnia has plenty of outside seating available, when the weather is warm that is, and the inside is kept at a cool temperature to prolong the eminent decay of productivity. Within seconds of perusing their bulletin board, riddled with business cards from local community members, it becomes quite clear that Insomnia is a community hub. 

Their coffee, hand roasted by Dapper & Wise, nestles quite nicely into the crevices of the atmosphere they have crafted at Insomnia.
