As a café owner, sometimes I walk into other cafes and they are so damn beautiful, I start to mentally remodel mine. Kava2 is one of those places. Thankfully, the beauty doesn’t stop with the visuals, the coffee and all-around customer experience is equal to the surroundings. Kava is a short walk from the hustle and bustle of the historic centre of Split but it is well worth finding. Filters and espressos are made to very high standard using coffee from Kava’s own roastery. I was lucky enough to try their Costa Rican Geisha and all that geisha expectation you can’t help get as you pay the extra was met with a wonderfully complex coffee. Kava also bake a few sweet items on site. If you can get them fresh from the oven, you must disregard whether you're hungry or not.
