Billed as a Café Bar but with a distinctive coffee shop feel, KIN+ILK in Capital Quarter offers really good coffee and an interior that is a welcome escape from the more industrial, built-up feel of its external surroundings. 

For cyclists, it is a great location as it's next to the cycle-friendly Smart Bridge. If you work around the area it is also perfect as not only does the café offer great coffee but it also serves a tempting lunch and is open for drinks after work (depending how late you finish, of course). 

KIN+ILK is definitely a spot worth visiting for its coffee and if you're visiting Cardiff for the day, it's just a short walk from the centre. However, the Capital Quarter café is not open on the weekend so you'll need to check out the Pontcanna alternative if you're in Cardiff on a Saturday or Sunday.
