Lindfield, in West Sussex, has a recorded history stretching back almost a thousand years. But, as a coffee lover, you could be forgiven for only caring about the few years that Lindfield Coffee Works has been up and running.

This café/roastery/bar has most definitely captured a loyal following. Tucked down a side road from the high street, you'll be lucky to happen into the Coffee Works, but grateful if you do.

The café is welcoming, vibrant, and well set out.  You can order any combination of coffee you can think of (how about nitro cold brew with tonic?) as you gaze, lustfully, at the Giesen roaster laying in wait for the next batch of green that they buy direct from coffee growers. The Peruvian batch brew filter (you can have hand brew, too) was light, and bursting with flavour.

Lindfield Coffee Works has ticked almost every box we have in terms of coffee, environment, and food.  Given Lindfield's seemingly traditional day to day life, this place is almost like a coffee oasis appearing through the mirage of West Sussex's rolling countryside.
