Local Hero opened in Kingston well before anyone else dreamed of specialty coffee there. Eight years later, the pioneers are still going strong, serving coffee near the Thames River. The location makes it a great place to get a well prepared latte and have a lovely stroll along the riverside or cross the Kingston Bridge. It’s a pleasant shop with a great atmosphere where you can get also healthy food, cakes, and brunches including vegetarian and vegan options.
