A takeaway window surrounded by brick lays allows you to look into Market Lane’s Carlton abode. Step inside and you’ll quickly realise the charm of the old house with black floorboards and vintage fireplace. The design is quintessential Market Lane, with the minimalistic yet detailed design of wooden bar and counter, product displays and tiled walls around the kitchen. There's minimal seating with a small bench in what used to be the hallway/corridor of the former premises and a couple of stools in the main area. Seating outside is available or just hang outside by the window to enjoy your coffee.

The coffee is of high quality: the filters are all pour over, well balanced and with the clarity you’dexpect, and there's a designed blend and a single origin also for espresso. It's a venue that's suited to its surroundings, and while having great pastries and cakes to indulge in, there are also plenty of amazing food options nearby.
