A design unlike any other café you’ll see in Sydney, far from the standard minimalistic or warehouse style cafés and eatery, Matinee takes on a form of a classic, elegant, and eccentric theatre foyer. All the details of design are accounted for from menu boards, light shades, and art work. It’s a fantastic production of classic design and modern hospitality.

It can be very hard to find a place that does food so well and not lose focus on coffee, but there are professionals at every station here, experienced in the industry, to pass on their trade skills to you. Coffee here is roasted at CRS and full range of rotations available. It’s a café that has a level of sophistication while being very inviting.
