Always a moment of joy when you order a cup of the batch brew and you’re greeted with a smile and the words, “today it’s our Columbia". I generally find it’s the tell tale sign of care going into the making of the coffee I’m about to receive.

And with the location, there has to be something available to compete with the various places around it churning out All Press by the bucket load.

And the care that’s clear in the setup of the place is something that will bring me back to the place. From detailed descriptions about the origins and various different beans available, a brew from here is indicative of the quality and care that goes into producing the powerhouse roaster providing the beans - Coffee Alchemy. Single estates changed every day.

The table setup is standing-only next to a high a high table on the street so it’s a place geared more towards takeaway. But with The harbour a three second walk away this is ideal as you could easily wonder down the road and enjoy your coffee by the water.
