This sunny, simple spot on a southern stretch of Malcom X Boulevard that's seeing rapid restaurant growth is an outpost of Bushwick and Ridgewood mini-chain Milk & Pull, bringing straightforward brews and good vibes along with it. While these guys aren't breaking the coffee mould or anything dramatic, their Bed-Stuy space is full of warming appeal: bright light streams in the picture windows into a serene, minimal space with a scattered few tables and a tall standing bar stocked with newspapers and magazines, encouraging a to-stay drink for even those on their way to the nearby A train.

Fresh food is available and counter service is friendly and chill, all adding up to the kind of place you're happy to be your neighborhood coffee shop.
