Canada Water and Rotherhithe have never been areas where I would expect to find good coffee so it was with surprise and delight that I noticed Mouse Tail’s cart opposite Canada Water station one morning. I was not disappointed when I drank the coffee. This place is like an oasis in a desert.

Mouse Tail is named after the fine stream of espresso that dribbles from a perfect espresso extraction. They use a house blend which is slightly darker than most.

Mouse Tail have a few seats available and a delightfully simple coffee menu that aims to educate customers and enhance their experience. In their locations, Mouse Tail are pioneers and their mission statement says it all: 'Our mission is to change the perception of really good coffee for at least one person per day. The rest are regulars.'
