Welcoming you with a shriner's fez and a wall of vintage vinyl sleeves, Pacific Social Club bills itself as a 'drop-out centre on the front-line of Clarence Road'. Children sit happily under chairs and skinny adults are found sitting above them. The atmosphere is slightly weird but very welcoming.

So, what's the story here? It's a café, music library, clothing boutique, and, well, anything it wants to be at the time. A positive, well-rounded approach, and the coffee isn't bad, either. A nice little spot to drop-out for a while.
