With the northern part of Lygon St towards Brunswick East becoming more of a destination for specialty focused items, it’s only fitting that Padre coffee has established itself there as one of the first to sling their selection of specialty brews on the block.
 You'll find one of the most expansive retail offerings in terms of equipment and beans, with dedicated staff to walk you through any questions you might have. Every brew benefits from an attention to detail from the great team of baristas, dialling up milky drinks with rotating blends to mix it up, a single origin for black coffee, and a sweet batch brew or any of their filter roast via numerous methods – just ask.

Massive windows and skylights ensure a lot of natural light flows into the elongated space, with its clean and sleek design. There's a beautifully balanced colour scheme of gloss and crafted tiles and exposed brick, accentuated by some greenery, encompassing the open roaster and workshop space. It's a great space to work from or meet people. Their public workshops deserve a special mention – they come highly recommended and are held every Monday, focussing on all things specialty, micro to macro and in between, for the experienced and novice, delivered by an incredible team.
