Strolling the crowded walkways inside South Melbourne Market, it’s very hard to miss the signs of Padre's great coffee, especially the regular queue of custoners that snakes out the door. While it's become a standard across the industry to have two origin options for filter, Padre go one better to showcase three, each highlighting a distinct flavour profile. That goes for their espresso also, where options are plentiful.

There is a great set up to allow for maximum flow without bumping into too many people in the space, and the slick interior design helps it standout amongst others. The white, tiled walls and black framed windows house two aesthetically pleasing Slayer Espresso machines and four Mazzer Roburs, coated in a dark, space-grey finish. For home brewers, the retail section offers a broad range of devices and methods to go with any coffee you purchase, almost everything you can imagine.

If you just need a break from the sights and sounds of the neighbouring stalls, or you're on a mission to find really great coffee, Padre shouldn't be missed.
