Perky Blenders (Project 660)

Snuggled in an unassuming unit close to Leyton Midland Road station is Perky Blender's Project 660.  Why Project 660?  Whilst it sounds a little mysterious, it's the just the road number!

Born and bred in East London, Perky have been on the London specialty scene for over 4 years and are entrenched in our psyches of East London coffee.

Whilst they have a retail/wholesale roastery not far away, there is a small roaster out the back so there's a chance you'll be drinking coffee that's been attentively roasted on site.  The long black was nutty without being overpowering - really smooth and expertly exacted.

The space is charmingly rustic and obviously a hit with local coffee crowd.  Whilst not what you'd call cosy, Project 660 is super chilled out and a great place to drink coffee.
