Shakespeare and Company Café
37 Rue de la Bûcherie, 75005 Paris, France
Editor's Review
Attached to the very first English book shop in Paris, is Shakespeare and Co's Café. It sounds very English, and the gentleman behind the bar was from Sheffield (though had a French style moustache) so it felt very English, too.
There are lots of books dotted around the café, which makes sense based on its name and its heritage. There's a large bar from which to order your drinks and snacks, exposed bricks to give the feeling that you're in and old-fashioned coffee shop, and tiled flooring.
You can get most drinks you would expect, from beans roasted from Lomi, including ye good olde flat white.
