Sightglass boasts some of the loveliest cafés in San Francisco and their shop in the Mission is a multi-sensory joy. The shop is also one of their roasteries, and the smell of coffee is immediately evident when you walk in.

A tight menu is accessible for both coffee nerds and run-of-the-mill caffeine addicts with a pleasantly sweet "Quick Cup" batch brew option and a rotating selection of brighter and more challenging individually brewed coffees made with a Hario V60. The same goes for the espresso with the Jerboa's Jump blend—exclusive to this shop—and a single origin option.

A long leather banquette crawls along the wall of this smaller shop, and like most San Francisco shops, there is no Wi-Fi—patrons are clustered together, sharing this warm community space with each other. With lots of natural light coming from three large warehouse windows, this warm neighborhood shop is the ideal place to start your day in the Mission.
