Small Batch Coffee
Wellington House, Camden St, Portslade, Brighton BN41 1DU, UK
Editor's Review
Small Batch helped revolutionise Brighton coffee. Roasting since 2007, they, together with Taylor St (who had a coffee shop in Brighton from 2010 to 2015) and Redroaster (since 2000) have developed a great demand for speciality coffee in Brighton. Small Batch are a major part of the reason Brighton residents were said to spend more on coffee than any other city. Small Batch run nine locations in Brighton, Hove, Portslade and Worthing.
This venue is also the new location for Small Batch’s roaster and is only a short train or bus from Brighton via Portslade station. It’s a great stop if you’re cycling along the coast and provides sandwiches and baked goods for refuelling, as well as the coffee essentials. Coffee is available from a vibrant blue Strada or, if you don't fancy an espresso-based drink, as an Aeropress, V60, or batch filter. There is also a fine range of beans and kit for sale.
