The Borough Barista (St. James's)

Borough Barista first opened in Marble Arch in 2011, building up a loyal customer base. Their second location also opened in an area previously now well served for coffee – the Theatre District in Mayfair. It’s a large space with extensive room downstairs. There’s even a second espresso machine downstairs for events. It’s a functional, fairly industrial space in shades of grey.

Reaching out, as Borough do, often to customers new to specialty coffee, they roast slightly darker than many but their espresso blend is delicious in a flat white. There are breakfast items, sandwiches and cakes and tea from Teapigs. If you’re in this area, Borough Barista is well worth a visit.
