The Common Ground Architectural Workshop combines a neighbourhood café space with their design practice here in Bethnal Green. It’s also a communal co-working space open to all.  Architectural designs decorate the walls and a long communal table sits in the centre of the room. There’s a small garden seating area and a bench out front by the large window. Coffee is well made using beans from The Roasting Shed in both filter and espresso drinks. There’s bean to bar craft chocolate from nearby Land. You get the feeling that The Common choose all their favourite products to stock. This ranges from Sandows’ cold brew to Yok Chan’s chilli oil to Waterloo Teas.

Food includes counter sandwiches, cakes and brownies, tarts, quiches, sausage rolls, frittatas, and a choice of leaf, grain/pasta and roasted vegetable salads. If you’re looking for somewhere to work during the day, or just hang out with a decent coffee, this just might be the spot!
