The Good Yard’s focus in on solid, quality breakfasts and lunches made fresh daily and sourced from London’s markets. Coffee is not no nonsense good – very well made from Allpress Redchurch espresso roast. We enjoyed flat whites on our visits that complemented the food impressively. Staff and friendly and uptempo music pumps out and there is even Mixmag to read (for dance music fans). On one visit we were captivated as much by an article on the recording of I Feel Good as the coffee but the comfortable and attractive design of the space certainly helps. Leadenhall Market is not short of coffee options but The Good Yard’s unpretentious food and coffee offer has its own personality and appeal.
