To put it simply, The Little Man Coffee Company is great. The coffee is excellent, the staff are friendly and intelligent, and the food is spot on. From the outside it's a relatively normal looking place for Cardiff. It's not in one of the fancy arcades but is situated reasonably centrally and is only a few minutes walk from the main high street.

Inside, Little Man is pretty urban with a couple of chintzy chairs thrown in for a little extra comfort. There's a fun addition in the form of a toast and cereal bar where you can help yourself for a small price. The menu is pretty standard but it's done well and is perfect comfort food. 

An extra bonus comes in Little Man's opening hours. In the week, it's open until 9pm so is perfect for an after work drink. There are also a whole host of events on offer; recent ones include yoga, author meets, opera, and scrabble & gin evenings. The Little Man Coffee Company is a real hub of excitement and not just because of the great coffee.
