Think green plants growing, and not industrial machinery "plant", then think about an expansive, floor to ceiling glass wall opening out onto Brighton Square's central fountain and you start to get a feel for this flagship Plant Room Coffee shop in Brighton.

Serving Allpress (made well with Redchurch blend at the time, we note), this coffee shop is a joy to be in - a wide range of tables and seats (high bar, normal table, outdoor picnic tables) mean you'll be hard pressed to not find somewhere to settle and drink coffee. Plants are everywhere you look, but not invasively so, and the team greet, guide, and serve you with unbridled enthusiasm.

Given it's slap bang in the middle of Destination Tourism in Brighton, this café manages to offer an aire of escapism and calm.
