We’ve been regulars at the original Watch House in Bermondsey Street since it opened in 2014. No-one does a better job in serving Ozone coffee and the staff serve large volumes of customers without ever losing their relaxed friendly appearance. The original café has a number of unique design features and in their second location, The Watch House team have had the space to go to town with their design ideas and it’s a beautiful café.

Shad Thames has lovely architecture and a fascinating history, both aspects fit with the Watch House ethos which also focusses on great food (using producers such as Little Bread pedlar, the Snapery, Knead Bakery and Blackhand Butchery), coffee and the aforementioned beautiful design. Particularly eye catching are the drinking water taps mounted into the wall. There is an extensive brunch menu and a variety of savoury and sweet foods either made in-house or sourced from Borough Market. The Watch House Tower Bridge have an alcohol license and plan evening openings from January 2017.
