A short walk from Clifton Down train station, and close to Blackboy Hill, is Tradewind Espresso. It has a light, bright and modern interior and offers a tasty selection of seasonal food and well-made coffee. Staff have a passion for good coffee and this is clear in the drinks that they serve. The beans used come from Roasted Rituals, which forms part of the Tradewind family, and they deliver a seasonal house blend as well as rotating custom blends and single origins.

Unusually for a speciality coffee shop, Tradewind Espresso offers table service; this helps to add to the warm atmosphere in the shop. The menu changes with the seasons and, where possible, the food is made on site and ingredients are sourced from Bristol and the surrounding areas. Though the food is well considered, quality coffee is the aim of Tradewind Espresso and they offer a wide range of drinks.

Tradewind Espresso is definitely worth a visit if you're into great coffee and/or thoughtfully prepared food. If the weather is on your side when you visit, aim to sit in the charming courtyard at the back of the shop.
