Standing out on the edge of Melboune’s CBD, with its pastel pink, bright colour splash of floor tiles – an unintentional tribute to something out of 80’s Miami? – is Vacation. Everything in this place really separates you from where you currently are, using natural surroundings, light, and the colour scheme, down to package design with its bright colours and fruity stickers and, of course, great coffee roasted for the venue at The Bureaux Collective.

There are two blends for milky variety with an origin for blacks, and a bottomless batch for filter to mellow out on. The high ceilings allow in an incredible amount of natural and ambient light, which opens up a picture postcard scene of iconic Melbourne. The outside view looks onto the Royal Botanical Garden, Federation Square and Melbourne’s famous Cricket Ground, and the Arts Centre Spiral. There's an occasion tram gliding past, and it's a really cool spot. And among it all, Vacation is making its own stamp in a city known for its vast coffee culture. Fresh sandwiches and wraps also available.
