Whitechapel Grind

The Whitechapel Grind location continues Grind’s themes of late opening, sophisticated food and drink offering including alcohol and cocktails and the now expected neon signage. They have the feel of updated grand European cafes but with an emphasis on service and quality. Coffee consistency is much improved now that they roast their own beans and batch brew and espresso based drinks are available as standard. As they’ve expanded, the Grind identity has come into focus as a café chain with a specific look and venues that add a little bit of glamour to London café life. 

 

This location is a coffee and cocktail bar inside the White Chapel Building. It is open to the public and a full kitchen is planned for September 2017. Currently there are sandwiches and pastries. Cold Brew is from Sandows, tea from Jing and milk by the Estate Dairy. There are espresso based drinks as well as red velvet and turmeric lattes and a cocktail bar open with an outside terrace on Thursdays and Fridays. Batch brew filter is available using Marco Jet.
