Why:

We appreciate their enthusiasm for coffee. They aim to provide their customers with the finest coffee. In addition, they care for farmers who grow and take care of coffee plants all their lives. As a result, they buy coffee directly from farmers to be paid well for their work.

What’s the story:

Team Cuppers Choice is composed of professionals who are passionate about coffee. All have about ten years of experience and have worked in a variety of different fields. They still work as baristas, own coffee shops, write for publications, raise funds, enter coffee competitions, and study agriculture, botany, anthropology, and design with an obsession for getting each step of coffee production perfect.

Sustainability credentials:

Their business partnerships with specialty exporters and direct trade models are well established. They are only willing to work with transparent companies when it comes to gate price and local investment.

They have a direct trade partnership with Emmanuel Rusatira, who builds schools, irrigation, and shelters in Rwanda. The group is also raising funds for a fresh water tap to be constructed for the community around Akagera Washing Station.

Additionally, they are providing free coffee to Frame in Doha for a Palestinian support fundraiser.

Their packaging is 100% recyclable or biodegradable.

This is one of the most delicious coffees produced by Cupper's Choice. The company sources it from Bugoyi, Rwanda. Ideally balanced, this coffee has notes of cherries & sparkling white wine.
