The WBC competition will take place at the Amsterdam World of Coffee on 21st to 23rd June this year. 



When did you fall in love with coffee?

14 years ago.

 

What was your first coffee job?

Dishwasher at a café in Tokyo.

 

If you didn’t work in coffee, what would you do?

A sports writer.

 

What exceptional coffee will you be using in the WBCs in Amsterdam? Tell us about the coffee and what it tastes like.

Something exceptional, something that I love to serve to my customers. It’s sweet and delicious!

 

Who would you most like to make coffee for and why?

I really enjoy making coffee for my customers because I love serving them so much!

 

Who would play you in the story of your life?

My father. And I would like to change my father's life.

 

If you opened a café today, what would be on your first day playlist?

Jamie XX - The rest is noise.

 

What’s your favourite way to make coffee?

Espresso.

 

What are you most excited about in coffee?

My customers’ smiles!
