Why did you choose to enter the AeroPress Championship?

I like to challenge myself. To evolve through competitions and discover every time something new. AeroPress was a challenge for me and finally it did go well.

What’s your favourite way to make coffee (other than AeroPress of course!)?

I like to use immersion method. Just like I used with the AeroPress for my recipe. I think I get the maximum out of the coffee: deeper flavours and more body.

What led you to using the AeroPress?

As I told you, I like the immersion brew method technique and I like to experiment a lot. How every method affects the result in the cup. AeroPress is used worldwide everyday and I wanted to find a way to brew the best out of it.

Which grinder will you use for the competition and why?

Baratza grinder suites me perfectly. It gives the opportunity to explore a recipe even more with all the various settings you can choose.

How did you get in to the coffee industry?

At first, when I was a student in the university, it didn't take a lot to realise that this is what I love to do. And, after all these years, I can still find reasons to stay for a long time in the coffee industry.

What are you most excited about in coffee?

Every year, every day, there is something new to discover. New flavours, new techniques, and new ideas. The happy face of satisfied consumers. There is always something in coffee to get you excited.
